When it came to scouting for a shoot location we knew we needed to find somewhere that exuded a sense of quiet indulgence. A 100 year old classic country dwelling, The Cottage sits in complete privacy at The Bower, Byron Bay. Soft interiors with vintage details and linen furnishings provided the perfect setting.
Babies....
With four earthy hues in the collection - seed, blush, cloud and storm - we put the word out to find our four newborns, and we found them with Amaya (1 week) Archie (2 weeks), Ailish (2 weeks) and Alexa (6 weeks).
Shoot Details...
The morning was spent with the mums (and one dad in tow) arriving with their babies, sitting quietly in the lounge room chatting, feeding, changing nappies and snacking on an amazing platter created by @themezlist.
One-by-one we invited our mamas and their newborns to step into one of the Cottage’s five luxe bedrooms and spend some time with our photographer, Lauren from Love Her Wild, who captured the babies snoozing, gazing at the camera and being held in their mothers’ arms.
Bamboo Baby has been designed with love created so you can hold them close, keep them snug and make life cozy.
