Aniseed (Pimpinella anisum) has been used for many years to reduce colic, abdominal cramps, indigestion and heartburn. Aniseed is also a known galactagogue, which is a herb that improves breast milk production.

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon) has a cooling energy, and has been found to improve digestion by lessening stomach cramps and spasms, and reducing bloating and flatulence. Lemongrass also helps to improve circulation. Lemongrass is high in antioxidants, of which scavenge free radicals from the body’s cells, and prevent or reduce the damage caused by oxidation.
