The first in the Children of the Tribe ‘Family Series’, we visit Amanda, Andrew, Banjo & Percy at their beautiful renovated Church Farm home in NSW Northern Rivers region.
Andrew Morris and Amanda Cullen, went for a Sunday drive that would eventuate into the purchase of their dream home. They came across an old church in Billinudgel, joking together that they wished it was for sale, and shocked when they found a 'for sale' sign on the door...and so the Church Farm General Store was born.
A place where herbal & plant medicine takes precedence, where the kids are free to roam in the gardens and where pickling, preserving and cooking all make up a normal day... the couple borned the idea of all natural, chemical free, hand made soaps & their very famous (and very hot!) Billinudgel Smoked Hot Sauce.
Utilising some of the existing church pews and some treasured items from the families travels, Andrew and Amanda created an inspiring space for their family with the idea that days are best spent at home living an extremely relaxed life on the farm. Lucky enough to run a business that allows for a lot of family time, when they are not beachside, they are in the garden... with Andrew & Amanda admitting to many a afterdark soap cutting so they can have this luxury.
We joined the family on a beautiful Wednesday morning capturing Banjo & Percy frolicking in Children of the Tribe, with Maggie (the family pup) joining in for some of the fun... join us as we take a look into their world.
